The Mar Vivo Facilitators’ Guide is an instrument for those who are supporting communities to make decisions and actions on the use and care of their natural heritage, taking into account their current welfare and that of future generations. This Guide provides a series of activities that steer a process of personal and collective reflection to recognize their special relationship with the environment. The Guide does not present correct answers, as part of each person, group and community has its own history, values and aspirations; and based on these, they will forge their own path and destiny.
